18th January 2013 - NC ART AND DESIGN ONLINE ACTIVITY - LOOKING AT ART

As an artist, you will need to be able to develop your communication skills in order for you to evaluate the works of different artists.

Please answer the following questions and complete the activities listed below:

1.     When did you first become interested in art and what is it about art that you really enjoy?                                                                                                     

     I became interested in art because I get my talents from my mum and I really love to draw and sketch some images out like portraits and landscapes.

2.    What is your favourite art subject at college and why?

     My favourite art subject at college is Colour because it is a really good and easy topic to do.

3.    Who are your favourite artists?  Please explain why you admire them so much.

      Vincent Van Gogh is my favourite artist because he uses different techniques of brushwork in his paintings which I think is really good.

4.    Which method do you like to use the most when creating an art piece?

      Painting and sketching.

5.    What would you like to do next as a project for your essential skills class?

      Something more fun for a change.
